“Asakusa” is the most touristic place in Tokyo now. Originally Asakusa was flourished as a temple town of Sensoji, the oldest temple in Tokyo, and welcoming huge number of tourist from both of domestic and overseas. Asakusa is bustling in the daytime with many people worshiping the temple and shopping at Nakamise street, and now it’s getting more popular with the attraction in the night time, too.
This tour focuses on “Kannon-ura” area (back side of the temple), which was well-known as a Geisha-town,and there were many high-end Japanese restaurants long time before.During this tour, you may see the old and cultural houses in the quiet street.
We selected very local, deep but remarkable bars like “hidden gems” for this tour. Normally these bars are closing its doors for the first-time guest, but no worry, you can enjoy them with our local guides!
We visit 3 bars in this tour, and includes one drink at each bar. You can enjoy “Kozara (small dishes)” at one of them.
